See a profile on a unique grain buying company and merchandising firm called Mobil Grain. At the time of our visit in 2011, Mobil Grain operated trans-loading facilities on two short line railways in Saskatchewan. By using the rail car as storage the identity of where the grain came from is preserved. The trans-loading facilities allows the firm to load a rail car in less than 10 minutes so it is easy to fill shipments for buyers wanting identity preserved 50 to 100 rail car allotments.
