At the time of our visit in the fall of 2011, Meg Mulvena an 11th grader was applying her on-ranch cow hand experience to high pressure sport of barrel racing. Go behind the chutes with Cody Floyd also in the 11th grade to see how he preps himself for bull riding competition in front of a large arena audience. Cody’s Dad, Howard Floyd details how the sport of high school rodeo in fact helps many young men and women strive for better grades academically.
